The material is conveyed to the compactor by a metal-detecting infeed conveyor.
In the compactor, the material is cut and heated to dry it and optimize the extruder feed.
Optionally , a side feeder can be used for dry, rigid and shredded materials.
In the extruder the material is melted, plasticized and homogenized. The screw design is key for optimum plasticization and production.
In the degassing zone , gases and volatiles generated during the melting of the material are removed.
The molten material is filtered to remove impurities such as contaminants or infusions.
The molten material, free of impurities, is cut into pellets and cooled with water.
The pellets are conveyed to a vibrating screen to separate particles of inadequate size and the cooling water is returned to the cutter.
After being screened, the pellets are dried in a centrifuge before being transported by a turbine.
Finally, different technologies are used to calculate production in real time and the pellets are stored.
