Description of the process /

The molten material flows through the die holes and is hot cut. The pellets produced are discharged into the water ring to solidify and start cooling.

The still hot pellets are conveyed through a pipe of variable length (longer or shorter cooling time) to the screen.

The water returns to the tank and the pellets are conveyed through the vibrating screen to remove the residual water and cool down.

In the centrifuge , residual moisture and adhering fines are removed .

Pellets are transported by air to the cyclone and the real time weighing station (optional).
