Altero Recycling Machinery announces new strategic agreement

ALTERO RECYCLING MACHINERY, a manufacturer of pelletizing lines for plastics recycling based in Sentmenat (Barcelona), has announced a significant step towards a new phase of growth and international expansion with the acquisition of TEG (Tecno Elèctric Girona) as a shareholder.

TEG, a leader in the automation of machinery and industrial processes, has decided to join ALTERO, motivated by the company's sustained growth, the strength of its brand in the plastics recycling sector, and promising future growth prospects.

The incorporation of TEG with a 33% stake not only strengthens ALTERO's financial structure, but also allows for the establishment of powerful industrial synergies that guarantee the highest quality and degree of innovation in the products offered by ALTERO.

ALTERO's management will now benefit from TEG's valuable input, although it will continue to be led by the team that has led the company to significant milestones since its founding in 2019, thus ensuring the continuity of the principles and values that have cemented its position in the sector.

Despite the significant challenges it has had to overcome since its inception, ALTERO has experienced strong growth in recent years, practically doubling its turnover since 2019. It is currently present in up to 20 countries and has closed commercial operations in 6 of them, including the United States. Its goal is to
consolidate itself as one of the leading European brands and continue innovating to make the plastic recycling process increasingly efficient and sustainable.
